In 2004, the United Way of the Bluegrass launched the Get on Board program to increase diversity on nonprofit boards in Central Kentucky. The class is led by community volunteers who are experts in fields of fundraising, finance, governance, and board service.

Since 2016, the Plantory has led the Get on Board training and the the program continues to be an initiative to strengthen the community through the cultivation of a widely diverse pool of candidates for greater nonprofit governing board effectiveness.

.

Our next class will begin March 19, 2024 and run until April 30, 2024. The Application Deadline is March 1, 2024.
